What We Do/Where & When We Gather
In spite of the fact that we are, at this point, a small community of 10-15 people, we have a lot going on!
-
On a weekly basis, we gather for a community meal and worship on Friday nights. More details here.
On a monthly basis, we organize on the 2nd Saturday of the month what we are calling FreeSpace - an afternoon for the poor and homeless of our community that includes snacks, drinks, clothing, movies, games, conversation, and free dinner - a comfortable place to just BE, hosted in the parish hall of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in downtown Scranton.
Also, we will occasionally host the Scranton Cohort, which is connected to the broader emerging church conversation through Emergent Village. Keep your eye on the Scranton Cohort page for updates on times, locations, and topics.
On a special basis, we will be offering alt.worship services. Most likely these will coincide with the big events of the church year, such as Advent, Epiphany, Lent, Easter, and Pentecost.
We'll be archiving events on our past events page.
